The Implementing Outreach, Empowerment, Diversity project (implOED) aims to create a more inclusive and fair society, increase active citizenship and make education policies more effective for the needs of the disadvantaged groups. The project that runs from 2016 to 2018, implements the OED Grundtvig network (2011–2014) results at policy and provider levels as well as transfer them to different sectors (vocational, basic skills, etc.). They include guidelines for trainers and staff in adult education as well as policy recommendations for policy-makers. The implOED project reaches the target groups through workshops, seminars and conferences and provides concrete suggestions to other potential users through an instruction manual. The partnership consists of 11 European organisations. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission.
